I start school on August 20th, so I'm savoring as much of my vacation time as possible. I really haven't been going anywhere special, just hanging out with my family. I feel blessed to have such a closeknit family. I love the time I spend with them, as every second counts because you only get one life to live. I can't wait for school to begin. I'll be taking two classes this semester, and they had to be classes that I flunked out in. Oh well. The good thing about my new schedule is I'll have Fridays for tutoring, so I can concentrate on my homework at school as well as at home. Paying with Roxie will also help with my school stress.

As the rainbow flag flies proudly over Hillcrest in San Diego, CA I snap photos of the Pride parade. It was magical. I'm a straight supporter, as I have gay family members, and I believe gays should have rights the same as we do. This year marked the first time that people from certain military branches were allowed to wear their uniforms in the parade so long as they followed dress rules. I even got a little sunburn, but it was worth it seeing all those happy faces. I feel blessed to live in a city that is so accepting to others. Plus, our weather is perfect. I love San Diego.

Well it's been a few days since my trip back from Fresno and things have been a bit busy. I've been spending time with my family playing tourist around town and it's been great, but sometimes I just need to be alone. I know that if I ever want to get just a little popular here on DA I'll have to post pictures on a daily basis, but sadly I can't. Oh well. Maybe every other day. But I'm glad I've joined DA in the first place, things have gone well so far anyway. I've made a few friends at least. Maybe I just gotta have faith.
